Lazy saturday and movie playlist.

How are you!? Finally it’s a day-off for the completely exhausted Voyager : P I slept for 12 hours straight and watched/rewatched 5 movies in a roll – nothing has ever felt so great! So my saturday movie list: The Lives of Others, The Pianist, The Children of Huang Shi, The Red Baron and Head in the Clouds. I know, quite a heavy playlist for saturday afternoon huh? Guess I’m just not the romantic comedy type when it comes to movies : P

Okay, outfit time! As you can see, I finally got myself a pair of Mariel! These shoes are amazing because they make the legs look so much longer, and this particular shade is so wearable and fun. I love how the snakeskin print looks so textured on the scarf. Oh and snakeskin’s gonna be big this fall and winter, don’t miss that out! The rest of the outfit is my work uniform because they are comfy and time saving. I mean, how much creativity is left there after 10 hours of working everyday?

What are your office staples?

Have a lovely weekend!

It has been a very busy and depressing week for me, for a few days I had the feeling that I just lost control of my own life. But there are moments in life when friends and family can really save you life, and I’m genuinely grateful for their kind words and patients . (And I know I should have spent more time with these people who has always been there for me..)

Okay I almost forget this is a fashion-related blog : P

The color-blocking trends has finally died down – there were quite some out-of-our-minds moments this Spring Summer and I’m glad that we’re all sane again : P The colors are still around, but much muted in the late summer. I found this blouse in a local fast fashion store (Maple f.y.i.) for only HK$109, but I quite like the material and the cut. (Though I’m pretty sure it’s a copy from something much pricier.) I wasn’t sure about wearing anything green because they look tacky against my skin color, but for some reason this shade of green works pretty well. This outfit is definitely a personal favourite : )

Big thanks to Liyo for making these photos! They are really great : )

Have a great day : ) Stay happy and inspired! (Cheesy)

Hey girls! Long time no post : P How are you!? I’m not going to say too much cox I need to catch up on some sleep : ( It will be really akward if I fall asleep at work : P  Uh Welcome to work life…
Something about this outfit – I really like the red and black combo with a camel vest on top to bring everything together. The vest is an old one I got from a local boutique, and I couldn’t find something similar that I really like. I’m also wearing my BELOVED Messeca Coraline wedges, they are just so pretty and edgy. I saw a few new colours coming out on Solestruck.com go check them out here! Personally I wouldn’t go for neons but these shoes are just so adorable : )

I have three outfits ready to post this week so stay tuned for more: )
Meanwhile, stay happy and inspired!

* Sorry for the typos. I was so completely exhausted I’ve wriiten the post entirely with typos : P Thank you for reading though : )

If Jack White wears hot pink.

I’m back to my humble rooftop where I started The Style Voyager. My life’s getting a little busy at the moment. So if I haven’t reply your emails or comments it’s because I can’t really spare the time to do it : ( But I’ve been reading each and every word your sent me! They really mean a lot to me : ) But things are on the right track now and I can’t wait to share with all of you!

When I put together this outfit I didn’t think of Jack White or any style reference in particular. But when I sent these photos to my boyfriend he immediately spotted the Jack White in me : P (I admit it would look much closer if I was wearing a trilby. ) So sad that there will be no more White Stripes. Time for a good old track guys : )

Oh, the lady in blue is my mom. I’m giving her kisses and hugs for making better photographs each time!

Have a lovely, well, Tuesday.

I will stay positive.

(Zara t-shirt, Topshop high waisted pants, Mango Kimono cardigans and Free People platform sandals.)

I was really excited about these Jeffrey Campbell wedges I’ve ordered from FreePeople, the print is just so beautiful I couldn’t resist! (But still I was a little too slow that the beige colour, which I like better, was sold out of my size range. These ones I had to get one size bigger as well. )I was wearing a Zara striped t-shirt (experimenting with a little colour blocking here.) with an old Mango kimono cardigan I got from the sales pile in Vienna (for only 12 euros!).

Also a very very exciting news! I’m featured in the Style Stalker section of popular fashion website WhoWhatWear.com. Click here to see the full story! Thank you WhoWhatWear.com! You rock : )

Runway inspirations

Les Copains’ Spring collection is so youthful and fun. I love this black kimono cardigan paired up with bright orange sandals. Usually I’m not huge into makeup, but those neon bright lips (also spotted in Jil Sander and many other shows) are to die for!
I’m very inspired by the colour combination in Fendi’s Spring collection. I’m not a person for large-scale colour blocking, and I think this bright orange and blue wrap skirt is just the perfect dose for me.
If you love floral the D&G Spring show would definitely impress you. I mean, look at these all-over floral maxi dresses , they would literally turn you into a walking flower field : o

Street inspirations

These are a few of my current favourites on Chictopia. Love the “ragged” thrifted Kimono on Autila, it’s the perfect outerwear for a simple and basic outfit, great styling! I’m sure the colour blocking trend is hard to carry, but Brooklyn Blonde‘s interpretation is very easy on the eyes, right on spot; Claudia from  Molto fashion has a unique look and personal style, love her hairbow and glasses : ) Check out their blogs!
