For many, including myself, Karen Millen stands for the feminine clothes and polished looks – its signature satin dresses flattered many and scared away many, perhaps more, by its figure-hugging designs since the brand was established.

This season, a selection of designs that seem unusual to be found in Karen Millen stores – a unlined cocoon jacket with dropped shoulders and doom sleeves, and a structured pleat A-line skirt. These fashion forward pieces make refined urban outfit for day and night, and are intended to transcend seasons. Other pieces, extract the DNA of Karen Millen aesthetics and transform them into causal and relaxed shapes.

Though pleasantly surprised by the brand’s evolving creative direction, my favorite piece remains one of their signature satin dress. This particular piece stood out for its beautiful digital ombre print. And like all Karen Millen dresses, it sculpts the body and leaves the woman confident and glamorous.

Coat, skirt, and gloves by COS, Zara bag and Topshop boots.

An outfit post attempt from Geneva. After two years of dreadfully humid Hong Kong winters, I finally got to spend some time abroad during this festive time of the year (with a real Christmas tree and a proper gift exchange session which lasted for 3 hours.) While enjoying some time away from Hong Kong, I realised that I’ve been running this blog for three full years. No sentimental stuff (since I didn’t actually become famous because of the blog) but I do feel grateful that the memories of the past three years of my life have been carefully recorded and preserved. And I’m truly grateful for those who still stops by every now and then.

2014 is about gratitude – hopefully.

(Club Monaco top, COS skirt, Topshop boots, Massimo Dutti bracelet, Zara jackets and shades)

When everyone else is still indulging in the crazy summer sale, I made an effort to pile on layers of fall winter clothes just to impress you – yea that’s what I do, freeze in February and melt down in August – just to impress you! Jokes aside, I’ve been quite impatient myself for the weather to cool down so that I can start wearing the dressy sweatshirts, full skirt and oversized coats… So here a sneak peek for the exciting season to come! Speak soon.

All those beautiful pearls.

All those beautiful pearls.

Photographs by dear mom (I know you’re spying on me in your office, now go back to work!)

(Topshop stripes cardigan and straw hat, H&M top and belt, American Apparel high-waisted short, Vintage handbag and unknown brand pink peep toe, jewellery by Nataliaraya.)

This outfit is probably not very me… I mean Barbie peep toes? Princess pink? Shorts!!? Well, I’m open to all options you know. I’m loving these American Apparel shorts. They are probably the only pair of shorts that I would ever want to wear, because the bottom of the shorts are so wide they actually look like a skirt. (I got one size too big though, click here to see what I mean.) The pink heels are old ones, so if you want something like that I would suggest a pair with concealed platforms.

Here you go the second part of the jewellery feature. These delicate little pearl and silver flowers are Natalia’s signiture  designs, simple but they’ll never run out of fashion. She doesn’t know yet but I’m gonna ask her to design my wedding jewelry (NOT that I’m getting married anytime soon.) : P
Apparently the artist is on vacation at the moment, but don’t hesitate to leave her message if you want something. Check out her Blog/Etsy Shop/Facebook Page.

Marc Jacobs’ collection is probably my favourite show for Spring 2011, he really knows how to dress up a girl and make her feel pretty, even in the simplest clothes; I don’t really understand fashion, but Sonia Rykiel’s clothes make me happy. I mean, what are you looking for, if not good feelings? I have mixed feelings on DVF’s Spring collection, but the bold print and these skorts(?) have won me over.

I’m so inspired by these effortlessnesses! It seems there’re many playful stripes and straw hats in the fashion blogosphere, go to the Style Icons‘ blogs to see more : )

Merry Christmas from the beautiful Alps : ) Lately it’s really bad weather throughout Europe and I wish the sun will shine really soon. I’m wearing a brick red blazer from H&M (which is strictly for indoor occasions only) and a floral skirt from Topshop. I’m also wearing gold jewelry and heavy gold gliters on my eye makeup. As Carrie Bradshaw said, we all need some sparkles in life ; ) Forgive those extra fat on my belly, I’m currently being fed like livestock by my boyfriend’s mom… (with incredibly delicious Tyrolean food : 0 )

This months feature is a young musician who´s definetly worth to look out for. Jacques Greene is a 21 year old kid from Montreal producing tracks that seem to stuck somewhere between House and Dubstep. “The Look” which is the title track of his first EP released on LuckyMe starts off deeply and keeps us there until the kickdrum comes in and concentrated streams of synths are pushing it to the climax. The Video comes with models Nicole Brand and Bobbi Kay so you fashion bloggers have something to kick about! 😉 / tituz
