Hello Fall!

(Topshop coat and quilted skirt, H&M shirt, Zara Heels, Bally bag, Massimo Dutti bracelet & Cotton On Necklace)

Just a little update on what I’m wearing these days. I still can’t promise regular posting, but thank you for those who are still checking the blog! So, a few of my fall essentials – red Zara heels, quilted skirt from Topshop and my mom’s Bally bag which I borrow from time to time.  It’s embarrassing but I don’t really know what’s trending now, what are you guys wearing this fall? Let me know and talk soon!

Uh… blogging at 4a.m. makes me crave for sugar, therefore the title of this post. So if you got into this page by searching food-related terms, big apology here. This outfit was inspired by the beautiful and delicious colour palette of Lanvin’s fall collection- bright reds, champagne, toffee and chic black and white. I love the softness in these shades and when put together, they are always in harmony. A similar colour palette from Brioni’s Spring 11 collection caught my eyes since last year, and I just couldn’t help myself but looking for these lovely shades.
I got everything from early this year except the toffee coloured sleeveless trench. I think you can still get it in H&M by the time this post is published. I hope you’ll have a great weekend and a heavy dose of sweets : P

(Topshop top, H&M blouse as skirt, Jeffrey Campbell heels and H&M bag.)

A streamline skirt with side slits  has been on the top of my wishlist for ages, and finally I got myself one – well, not exactly since it’s actually a top. Shirt as skirt is much discussed in the style community recently, my version is super simplesimply tuck the collar and everything into a bodycon skirt – which is on its own a GREAT SLIP – you can get it from H&M. I cinched it up with a scarf to create this paperbag waist. The result is super flowy and feminine, and that’s exactly what I wanted.  I hope you like this little idea. Crystalof Watermoolen did a lovely article on the REAL Shirt as Skirt. Check it out here.

The amazing Carmen Chan has invited all of us to the Colonial Goods x G.O.D. x LKM exhibition launch party on Wednesday night. Colonial Goods has collaborated with G.O.D. and Lee Kung Man to re-introduce the iconic white T-shirt from the 60s. The idea is to bring back a garment of much heritage and showcase the traditional craftsmanship. Carmen’s photographs truly captured the essence of this project – simple, classic and refreshing. And I’m so happy that she’s making a breakthrough here in her hometown!

For more about the event and the product and Carmen’s amazing photography!!!
Go to Colonial Goods.

I didn’t take so many picture that night, so for a sum-up of the party,
Go to The Wanderlister Asia.

People who were also in the party: Carmen, Geneva, Danielle, Valerie, Jasmine and more.
People who probably should have attented but didn’t: Sam  lol.

See you soon!

Isn’t El Capitan the perfect accessory for summer?! haha, honestly I think the camera’s adorble. It’s great for self-protraits because of its super wide angle lens, and with the flash (not to mention the adorable colour filters) it’s just perfect for night out with friends – not that I have any : P I’m making photos with it and hopefully I can develop them asap- fingers crossed :l

I got this skirt from a Swap Party hosted by Tania from T Like Bubble Tea,  seriously, why aren’t swap parties EVERYWHERE!? It’s just so much fun. We all have cute clothes that for some reasons we just wouldn’t wear anyone, and why not swap them with others! This cute pleated skirt is the perfect example of – one blogger’s trash is another blogger’s treasure : P

If you live in Hong Kong and somehow interested in Swap parties, drop me a line or suggest a venue, let see if things would work out!
Stay happy and inspired! Until next time : )

Thank you Lomography : )

Hey girls! Long time no post : P How are you!? I’m not going to say too much cox I need to catch up on some sleep : ( It will be really akward if I fall asleep at work : P  Uh Welcome to work life…
Something about this outfit – I really like the red and black combo with a camel vest on top to bring everything together. The vest is an old one I got from a local boutique, and I couldn’t find something similar that I really like. I’m also wearing my BELOVED Messeca Coraline wedges, they are just so pretty and edgy. I saw a few new colours coming out on Solestruck.com go check them out here! Personally I wouldn’t go for neons but these shoes are just so adorable : )

I have three outfits ready to post this week so stay tuned for more: )
Meanwhile, stay happy and inspired!

* Sorry for the typos. I was so completely exhausted I’ve wriiten the post entirely with typos : P Thank you for reading though : )

We all know about the devastating earthquake and deadly neuclear aftermath in Japan. What can we do apart from making donations and praying for those who are  facing the disaster. Sam from Sam is Home emailed Chictopia about her idea of wearing red as to commemorate all that has happened in Japan. Thanks to that Chictopia is now hosting a campaign called “Wear Red Wear Hope” in collaboration with the Red Cross.

“The fashion community can not only inspire what people wear daily, but we have a voice that can call other people into action at a time of crisis and loss.” – Sam from Sam is Home

My Wear Red Wear Hope outfit consists of a fruit and floral print Zara shirt, a midi H&M skirt in vibrant red colour and a Topshop straw hat with flower adornments – symbolising life and hope. I hope you enjoy this ourfit! Please spread the word and show your support for Japan!

Join Chictopia’s Wear Red Wear Hope Campaign by uploading a picture of yourself wearing one red item. Also, donate US$10 to Red Cross Japan earthquake and tsunami relief funds. For more detail please click here.

Have a lovely day!

(Zara blazer, American Apparel stripes bodysuit; H&M shorts and heels, Asos.com Sunglasses and Portfolio clutch.)

Happy International Women’s Day! I’m sure you’ve been treating yourself very well for the day ; ) In the past century not only did we achieve equality in so many aspects, we’ve also managed to rock menswear in every possible way. (Yea I know guys are wearing wedges and skirts now… that’s totally self-inflicted by the way.)

My outfit consists of a bright red portfolio clutch, a pair of hot read heels and  some basic menswear elements (American apparel bodysuit, H&M shorts and Zara blazer). I like the simplicity. (Asos.com has some really cute clutches, definitely check those out!) And have yourself a very lovely day,  because you deserve it!

I love the styling of Dsquared² spring collection: the geek sunglasses, straw trilby and nerdy dress shoes. I also love Costume National’s spring show for the minimalistic clothes and super feminine accessories. On Paul Smith… well you know what we love about Paul Smith ; ) I guess the relation between menswear-inspired fashion and these dainty clutches is purely aesthetic, but one thing can be certain – clutch is the new bag.

I love Sam’s minimalistic chic with a pop of cobalt and the sleek high ponytail. (Go to her blog now!); Rosery necklace, leather pants and leopard print clutch, Cindy from Come Over to the Dark Side has put on just the perfect amount of rocker chic; Who plays with colour better than Clare from Rainbows and Fairy Dust? Her blog name has suggested it well enough ; )

Spring is quite a feminine season for me, in terms of dressing up. It’s the perfect season for items like midi skirts and 3/4 sleeves tops. I found this hot red full skirt in H&M.  I was amazed by how much visual drama it creates, definitely a must-have piece for every girl. Not gonna talk too much this time, the post is getting longer each time : P

You’ve probably noticed these lovely jewels by now. They are all handmade pieces by a very talented young (and beautiful :0 ) artist from Costa Rica – Natalia Araya. I’ve been a huge fan of her designs, and these little Ojitos are my favourites from her. Visit her blog www.gravitando.wordpress.com to see how she works her magic : D (More features coming up in the next post!)

It’s all on the shoulders! Etro’s beautiful ethnic designs for Spring has all the desirable shoulder details. Oh and the puffy sleeves; It’s about time to get rid of the winter shades and put on some Hot red! I’m loving this dress from Brioni’s Spring collection; This black dress by Miu Miu with latticework details on the neckline is a piece of highly-wearable art.

All these womanly full skirts are absolutely beautiful. Dreamy neutrals or bold bright colours, a full skirt is always the best girly solution : )

Have a lovely weekend!

We’ll live each day in Spring time.

(H&M 3D flower dress and leopard print scarf, Monki denim shirt, Unknown brand red wedges, Asos.com necklace and Nataliaraya sterling silver jewelry)

I was feeling springy the other day, so I put on my H&M LWD with 3D flowers details and a denim shirt over it. (It’s structured but it’s still a shirt. I couldn’t quite imagine myself in a denim jacket that’s why.) To acessories the outfit I put on my old red wedges and a scarf. It’s very simple, and I was surprise by how simplicity can be the cure of my recent worries. (a bit too much irrelevant information here.) Have a great day my friends.

BDBG Max Azria’s SS2011 RTW has a remarkable collection of textured white silk dresses, maxis and minis; one-shouldered and caped, with tonal chiffon and lace details. Frankie Morello’s Spring2011 is about playful summer denim and flowy chiffon, including this maxi Chambray shirt which is wore unbuttoned with a maxi chiffon dress. And this white one-piece from N°21 SS2011 collection, which offers a mixture of sportswear chic  and subtle feminity, is one of my favourites.

I’m feeling…off the shoulder

I’m feeling…off the shoulder

Photographs by tituz

I love maxi hemlines, but this one was a floor-sweeping experience : P
I’m wearing an one shoulder maxi dress (which you don’t really see the should here.. ) with a denim coloured shirt over it. The short torso-torso-long-legged look is very chic in my opinion. But what I love most about this outfit is definitely the off shoulder look of the blazer, I feel very powerful for some reasons. By the way I’ve managed to resist the coldness and to look grumpy in every shot. I’m going pro. Enjoy!
